Video Overview
Accessing the Products page
Navigate to Catalog > Products to view, search, filter, and manage your central inventory library.
Creating a Product
From the Catalog (Core Inventory): Click + New Product to build standard items, permanent rentals, and packages before event season starts.
From a Project (Custom Items): Inside a Project's Orders tab, click + Add line item to build a custom product directly onto a customer's quote.
Saving Custom Items: Line items created inside a Project do not automatically save to your Catalog. To keep a custom item for future use, click the three-dot menu next to the line item and select Save item to catalog.

Managing Updates & Importing
Changes made to a product in the Catalog do not automatically push to Projects where that item is already in use. To add a product or refresh an updated item on a quote, you must import it:
Click the Search icon directly on a blank line item inside the Project's Orders tab.
Or, click the Import from catalog button in the Orders tab to browse and add multiple items.
Expanding Products with Packages and Recipes
Packages: To bundle a set of products together under a single price or grouped offering, build a Package.
Recipes & Components: Tie specific components to a product to calculate exact costs. (Link to Components/Ingredients guide)
AI Assist: Because direct importing of products with recipes currently has limitations, utilize AI Assist to quickly generate and map recipe components.
Troubleshooting Missing Products
Can't find an item you recently worked on? Check these common culprits:
Active Filters: Navigate to your Catalog > Products page and check the Filter icon in the top right. If there is a number beside it, your view is being restricted. Click the icon, select Clear all, and hit Apply.
Trapped in a Project: If you built the item directly on a proposal, it likely wasn't saved to your core inventory. Go back to the project and use the Save item to catalog option from the three-dot menu.
Unsaved Work: If you navigated away from the creation page without clicking Save, the product was not recorded and will need to be recreated.
