AI Assist Interface Overview
You can easily open the AI Assist chat panel from almost anywhere in Curate.
Look for the AI Assist button (shown below) located in the top right-hand corner of your screen. This button is accessible whether you are browsing the main menus or working actively inside a project workroom.
When you launch AI Assist, the panel gives you quick access to prompt tools, attachments, and past conversations in one streamlined window:
Header Controls (Top Right):
Chat History (Clock Icon): Opens your saved list of up to 50 previous AI conversations so you can pick up where you left off.
Expand (Diagonal Arrows): Enlarges the chat window for a wider view.
Close (X): Exits the AI Assist panel.
Prompt Box & Tools:
Text Input Area: Type your prompt or custom instructions here.
Skills Selector : Dropdown menu to select, view, or attach your pre-saved context templates.
Attachment (Paperclip Icon): Click to upload files directly into the chat
Action Buttons:
Reset: Clears your current chat conversation and starts a new one
Generate: Sends your prompt to the AI to start generating a response
Navigating AI Chat History
AI Assist now allows users to view and reopen previous conversations, enabling you to easily revisit past research without losing context.
Accessing Previous Chats
To view your history, click the dropdown icon button in the AI tool, which opens a popover.
The history panel displays up to 50 of your most recent AI Assist records.
Chats are ordered by when they were last updated, meaning the most recently updated conversations always appear at the top.
â ď¸If you have no past conversations, you will see a tooltip stating "No chat history" and an empty popover state.
Resuming an Active Chat
When you select a previous chat, a loading state will appear while the system fetches the full chat session.
Once loaded, you can continue messaging in that same conversation seamlessly.
Monitoring Your AI Credit Usage
AI Assist utilizes a credit-based system to manage usage. Certain actions, such as generating responses, creating projects, and extracting PDF data, will consume credits from your monthly pool.
Checking Your Available Credits
Navigate to the main navigation menu and click on Settings.
Select AI from the settings sidebar.
Here, you can view your total consumed credits for the current month's cycle
