Galley Integration Guide

This article provides a step-by-step guide to setting up and using the Curate-Galley integration.

What does the Curate-Galley integration do?

The Curate-Galley integration bridges event planning and food production workflows. Galley provides software to help restaurants manage recipes, inventory, and kitchen operations more efficiently. Through this integration, event professionals can seamlessly sync menu items between Curate and Galley — streamlining the event order fulfillment process.

  • Galley → Curate: Galley recipes can be mapped and synced to Curate products.

  • Curate → Galley: Curate event orders can sync to Galley as menus for production after an event is confirmed.


Before You Begin

Make sure you have:

  • A Curate account with admin access

  • A Galley account

  • A Galley API key

Note : Please reach out to support@galleysolutions.com obtain your API key.


Connect Curate to Galley

  1. Go to Settings → Integrations in Curate

  2. Connect Galley and click Get Started

  3. Enter your Galley API Key

  4. Click Submit to authenticate

Once connected, you’ll see a confirmation that the integration is Connected


Map Products to Galley Recipes

To sync data correctly, each Curate product must be linked to a Galley recipe.

  1. Go to Catalog → Products

  2. Open a product. In Mapped Galley Recipe, search and select the corresponding recipe

  3. Once the mapped Galley recipe is selected, the Galley Price will automatically populate.

  4. Save your changes

💡 Tip: You can create a tag like “Galley Mapped” to keep track of mapped items.


Prepare Events for Syncing

Before syncing, ensure your event meets these requirements:

  • Products in the order are mapped to Galley recipes

  • Event status is set to Booked

To prepare an event:

  1. Open an Event

  2. Go to the Orders tab

  3. Add mapped products and quantities

  4. Set the event status to Booked

Note : Only booked events can be synced to Galley


Sync an Event to Galley

  1. Open your Event Overview

  2. Click Sync to Galley

  3. Confirm the sync

Once successful:

  • The event appears in Galley as a new menu

  • You’ll see a confirmation and last sync timestamp


What Data Syncs?

When you sync an event, the following fields are transferred:

Curate

Galley

Event Name

Menu Name

Event Date

Menu Date

Order Items

Menu Items

Unit Price

Unit Sale Price

Production Notes

Notes


Bulk Mapping & Imports

  • Bulk mapping is not currently supported

  • For new accounts, Galley can provide a recipe export to help with bulk product setup

This helps ensure product names match for easier mapping.
