How to Export Data from Caterease

If you are transitioning to Curate, you can easily export your existing Menus, Accounts, and Contacts from Caterease to bring them with you.

Here is how to export your data for each module.


Exporting Menus

Log into your Caterease account and navigate to the Menu Manager :

  1. Click on the large circular dot in the upper left corner of the screen.

  2. Click the yellow asterisk icon in the top left corner of the grid and check the (All) box so all of your menus are selected.

  3. Proceed to the Finalizing the Export section below.


Exporting Accounts

Locate the navigation tab on the left side of your screen.

  1. Expand the Queries menu and select Account Query.

  2. A Set Parameters window will appear. Choose your desired filters, such as checking the box for Accounts With Events Only, and click OK (See image)

  3. Once your list populates, click the yellow asterisk icon in the top left corner of the grid and check the (All) box so all of your records are selected. (See image)

  4. Proceed to the Finalizing the Export steps below.


Exporting Contacts

Locate the navigation tab on the left side of your screen.

  1. Expand the Queries menu and select Contact Query.

  2. A Set Parameters window will appear. Choose your desired filters, such as Only Contacts With Events and Only Contacts Associated With Accounts, and click OK. (See image)

  3. Once your list populates, click the yellow asterisk icon in the top left corner of the grid and check the (All) box so all of your records are selected. (See image)

  4. Proceed to the Finalizing the Export steps below.


Finalizing the Export

Right-click anywhere inside the grid of your highlighted results.

  1. Select Export Data - CSV File.

  2. An Export Grid To CSV File window will appear. (See image)

  3. Under Export Method, select Cell Content Only.

  4. Under Export Options, check Expand All Groups and Use Native Format. Ensure Only Selected Rows remains unchecked.

  5. Click OK to save the file to your computer.
