Recovering Projects with the Recently Deleted Feature

Accidents happen, and if you or your team mistakenly delete a project, you can now recover it yourself without needing to contact support. The Recently Deleted view allows you to review and quickly restore eligible projects back to your active workspace.

Restore deleted records

Recently deleted records are stored here temporarily. These items will not be retained permanently. This table is not intended for long-term storage or recovery.

Deletion Rules and Guardrails

To protect your financial and legal reporting history, the system enforces strict rules regarding what can and cannot be deleted from your workspace.

  • Eligible for Deletion: Projects with no payments made and no signed contracts. Once deleted, these move to the Recently Deleted page and their portal access is disabled.

  • Blocked from Deletion: Projects containing any payment record or signed agreement. If you attempt to delete one of these projects, the system will block the action and prompt you to Archive the project instead.

Viewing Recently Deleted Projects

To access your temporarily removed projects, navigate to your settings:

  1. Open Settings.

  2. Click on the Recently Deleted tab.

This page displays a table of your soft-deleted projects. To help you easily identify the correct record, the table includes the following information:

  • Project ID

  • Project Name

  • Customer Name

  • Event Date

  • Deleted By (Curator name)

  • Deleted On (Date and Time)

(Note: You will only see deleted projects that belong to the branches you have access to. You must also have the necessary project deletion permissions enabled on your account to view or restore these records).

Restoring a Project

If you need to recover a project and bring it back into your workflow, you can do so directly from the table.

To restore a project:

  1. Locate the project in the Recently Deleted table.

  2. Click the 3-dots menu on the far right of the project row.

  3. Select Restore Project.

  4. A confirmation modal will appear. Click Restore to finalize the action.
