Whether a supplier was out of stock or a client had a change of heart, substitutions are essential within Curate’s workroom! This article will walk you through substituting ingredients within recipes (both in the gameplan and shopping list) and updating ingredient pricing to mitigate any last minute changes.

If you’re attempting to make a substitution across multiple events, the best approach would be “Substitute an item within a gameplan”. Alternatively, if you’re hoping to make a substitution throughout a single event (but with multiple recipes), the best approach would be “Substitute an item within a proposal”.

How-to

Substitute an item within a proposal, across all recipes

  1. Click on the hamburger menu in the top right corner of the workroom and select “Shopping List”

  2. Select the pencil icon next to the item you wish to replace throughout the proposal

  3. Search for and select the desired substitution
