POS/E-Commerce - Online Store Photos
The most optimal ratio is a 4:3 image. The larger the image, the better. For product images where the original image is more vertical than horizontal in terms of size, you will want to resize the image or use an online tool to add a white background or canvas to place the original image on. Re-saving the image at a larger ratio with clearly defined whitespace “buffer-space” will end up looking more aesthetically pleasing when uploading the image to your product and embedding it on your online store.
